Radley House Partnership
Radley House Partnership is an established and award-winning practice with a broad portfolio of notable work. Our commissions range in scale from large residential masterplans to bespoke furniture design, covering all building types from retail foodstores and hotels to libraries and restoration work to historic buildings.
Brief History
The Practice was founded by Wilfred Carpenter Turner, then Architect to Winchester Cathedral, in 1933. The name has changed over the years to accommodate various stages of development; the present title dates from 1985.
Understanding of specific requirements
Through its wide experience, the Practice is familiar with the philosophies and approach required in a broad range of building types. The personnel proposed for each project are all experienced in the nature of the work, be it residential, commercial, civic or historic, and are familiar with the use of correct techniques and materials.
Creative, innovative skills
Our goal is to create innovative, sensitive and exciting responses to the wide range of briefs we are given. Our new build work in the historic towns around Hampshire and the south of England, along with our long history of conservation work, gives us a healthy respect for context in the designs we produce. Combining modern methods of construction with traditional crafts, we look to create contextual architectural responses equally appropriate to their place and time.
Commitment and enthusiasm
With a mixture of young and experienced designers we seek to create fresh but sophisticated solutions to design briefs.
